It was that time again. Time to review scholarship applications for future Certified Financial Planners, courtesy of the Measure Twice Planners CFP scholarship to Bryant University. It was my pleasure to be on the Scholarship Board again this round.

There are so many ways to build your community. Measure Twice Planners memberships provide the funding for full ride scholarship for the CFP classes. A few times a year a Scholarship Board works with Cody to select recipients out of the applicant pool for these needs-based scholarships.

As a member of the Measure Twice Planners Scholarship Board, it was great to see behind the scenes into the lives of all of the hard working applicants, and to learn more about their motivations about who they want to serve and why. The 3 recipients were great examples of people who will be return-on-investment additions to the financial planning community, and bring value to the communities they plan to serve. And they were so grateful for the boost to their plans, the words of thanks felt great to know I’d helped enable.
