Your finances should be like a visit to the Civic Center
By which I mean personalized.
Our Rochester Minnesota Civic Center has recently announced that for guests who are easily overwhelmed by sensory input, they can request a sensory reduction kit to borrow during their visit.
That’s a personalized experience that can be opted into, to greatly reduce the challenge for a family or individual to attend and participate in wonderful experiences. Similarly, the Minnesota Zoo offers a sensory friendly planning app, Como Zoo has two mornings a month with early access, the Science Museum of Minnesota offers Sensory Friendly Sundays on the 1st Sunday of each month and a sensory-aware guide, and there are many others across Minnesota.
Now imagine if understanding your finances was personalized. By that I mean what if you could receive just-in-time personalized financial education, instead of an intimidating dark wood and dark leather formal office where you get told not to bother your pretty little head about the details. Public experiences have made great strides forward in personalization, and your finances should too.
