Welcome to April! It was a beautiful frosting-snow day in south eastern Minnesota today, an April Fools joke on everyone who was hoping for spring. I actually wasn’t hoping for spring yet, as if the temperatures were going to hover around freezing and the air was going to be damp, I prefer white to brown; but I know I am in the minority by still loving snow in April.

Besides being a month of highly variable weather, April is also Financial Literacy month. Also known as Financial Capability month, I hope you’ll join me for a series of posts aimed, like all of my others, at educating and empowering you to make better financial decisions.
