Published in the Journal Of Financial Planning – Insights from the Tax Trenches
I wrote an article that was published in the October 2022 issue of the Journal of Financial Planning, financial planners can access it through the Financial Planning Association. My article, “Insights from the Tax Trenches for NexGen Financial Planners”, is on pages 24-28.
In it I outline what is the current tax environment, frequently asked questions, and further professional development opportunities. I wrote this article because after supporting an enrolled agent, and an enrolled agent + CFP, for 3 tax seasons, and teaching introduction to tax preparation to new tax preparers, this tax-themed issue of the JFP was a great opportunity to provide additional tax education to newer financial planners.
You can also find me noted in this issue on page 10, for being part of the Journal’s peer review board. I began reviewing for the Journal in December 2020, and have been listed among their peer review board since their January 2021 issue.
